The work behind the shine.
Six steps, in this order, on every vehicle. What changes between phases is how far each step goes — never whether it happens.
- 01
Assessed first, priced second
A visit starts with the vehicle, not the price list: paint condition, contamination and size decide the work. Final pricing is confirmed before anything begins.
- 02
Washed by hand, in two buckets
A foam pre-soak loosens what sits on the surface, then a two-bucket contact wash with CarPro Reset, panel by panel. Wheels and tires keep their own tools and their own water.
- 03
Decontaminated where the paint calls for it
Iron remover, tar removal and a clay treatment lift the bonded contamination a wash cannot reach, so nothing is sealed over the top of it.
- 04
Refined only as far as it needs
Paint depth is mapped and a test spot sets the pad and compound. From there it is a single-stage enhancement or a multi-stage correction, followed by a panel wipe and a gloss check in proper light.
- 05
Protected with CarPro chemistry
A sealant, a spray topper or a CQuartz UK 3.0 ceramic coating, matched to the vehicle and how it is used.
- 06
Inspected, then documented
Every visit ends with a final inspection in controlled light, and a published care record: the photographs, the products applied, your aftercare instructions and the next date to bring the car back.

A Personal Standard of Care.
Kalos Detail is built around a simple principle: every vehicle deserves thoughtful care, professional workmanship, and attention to the details others overlook.
Your driveway is the detail bay.
The mobile setup is deliberate rather than improvised: enough light to inspect paint honestly, and enough time to work a panel properly instead of rushing the finish.
- The finish is chosen after the paint is assessed, not before.
- The final price is confirmed before any work begins.
- Products, tools and lighting arrive with us; the work needs water and power on site.

Prices assume a vehicle in average condition. Heavy soiling, pet hair, severe staining and unusual contamination can add time and cost, and the final price is confirmed before work begins.
